Shopify
Connect Shopify to bring your store’s orders into Link Studio and credit each one to the link that brought the buyer.
What you can do
- See real revenue on your Board and in Analytics.
- Rank your ads and creators by the money they make.
- Track a revenue goal with a Target block.
Before you begin
Connecting Shopify
To connect Shopify:
- Click Add-ons in the sidebar.
- Find Shopify under Connections and click Connect.
- Fill in the fields below.
- Click Connect.
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Name | A name you will recognize, like Shopify. |
| Identity namespace | Your website or app, like yourshop.com. Use the same one for every tool that belongs to the same site or app. |
| Store domain | Your store’s address, like your-store.myshopify.com. |
| Authentication | Admin access token, or App client credentials for stores in your own organization. |
| Admin access token | The token from your Shopify app. With client credentials, enter the Client ID and Client secret instead. |
Once connected, the last 60 days of orders come in, or your whole history if the app has read_all_orders. After that, Link Studio checks for new orders every few seconds.
Crediting sales to your links
Shopify records the page each buyer landed on. When your short link goes to your store, Link Studio uses that to credit the order to your link.
Disconnecting Shopify
On the Add-ons page, click Disconnect on the Shopify card and confirm. Shopify stops syncing until you connect it again.
