Hit a sales goal
Set a goal, like 500 sales this month, and watch a bar fill up on your Board as orders come in, with the money next to it.
Before you start
- A Purchase conversion on your Board.
- A revenue tool connected in Add-ons, like Shopify or Stripe. Without one you can still estimate.
Step 1 | Add a Revenue block
- Click Blocks in the toolbar and add a Revenue block below Purchase.
- Draw a line from Purchase into it.
- Double click the block and check your tool is listed under Revenue from.
No revenue tool yet? Type your average order value under Price per sale and the block shows an estimate.

Step 2 | Add a Target block
- Add a Target block next to Purchase.
- Draw a line from Purchase into it. It now counts purchases.
- Double click it, rename it Sales goal and type 500 under Target.

Step 3 | Check in
- The bar fills as purchases come in. It counts the date range picked at the top of the Board.
- Your whole team sees the same goal on the same Board.
- Add a Winner block set to Revenue to see which link is bringing in the most money toward it.
FAQs
How do I track progress toward a sales goal in Link Studio?
Connect your Purchase card into a Target block on the Link Studio Board and type your goal, like 500, under Target. The bar fills as purchases come in, for the date range at the top of the Board, like 30D.
Can I set a revenue goal instead of a number of sales?
Yes. In Link Studio, connect the Target block after a Revenue block instead of Purchase, and type an amount, like 10000. The bar then fills with money made.
Can I track a sales goal in Link Studio without Shopify or Stripe?
Yes. A Target block after your Purchase conversion counts purchases without a revenue tool. For money, type your average order value under Price per sale in a Revenue block, with Revenue scope left on Connected links, and Link Studio shows an estimate.
