Compare creators and ads
Running ads and paying creators at the same time? Put them side by side on your Board and see which group, and which person, actually sells.
Step 1 | Give each ad and creator a link
Make one short link per ad and one per creator, all going to the same page. Put them in folders like Meta ads and Creators to keep them tidy.
See Creating a link and Organizing with folders.
Step 2 | Group them on the Board
- Your new links are already on the Board. Drag your ads into one row and your creators into another.
- Click Box and drag it around each row. Name them Paid and Creators from the gear in the box’s toolbar.
- Click Text and add a heading above, like the name of the campaign.

Step 3 | Add a Winner block to each group
- Add a Winner block inside each box.
- Connect every link in the box into its Winner block.
- Rename them Best ad and Best creator, and set Counts to Converted %.

Step 4 | Add them up
Add a Total block below both boxes and connect both Winner blocks into it. It adds up every link from both groups.

Step 5 | Decide
- The trophy in each Winner block shows your best ad and your best creator.
- Compare the two winners’ rates to see whether ads or creators convert better for you.
- Once a revenue tool is connected, switch Counts to Revenue to rank by money instead.
- Find your best ad: The full walkthrough for ranking ads by sales.
- Blocks that do the maths: Every block and its settings.
Keep it fair:
- Send every link to the same page with the same offer.
- Compare over the same dates.
FAQs
How do I compare influencer sales with paid ad sales?
Give each ad and each creator its own Link Studio link to the same page. On the Board, put the ads in a Paid box and the creators in a Creators box, add a Winner block to each set to Converted %, and compare the two winners’ rates. Converted % is the share of each link’s visitors who reach a conversion, so it needs page tracking and a conversion like Purchase. Each of these links counts toward your plan’s link limit. To save links, ask your AI agent to add the ads or creators under one Link Studio link instead: those don’t count, and each card shows its own Converted % with a trophy on the best one.
How do I keep a creator and ad comparison fair in Link Studio?
Send every Link Studio link to the same page with the same offer, and compare over the same dates. Then the only difference between two links is the ad or creator behind it.
Can Link Studio rank creators by the money they bring in?
Yes. Once a revenue tool like Shopify or Stripe is connected, switch the Winner block’s Counts to Revenue and Link Studio ranks your creators by money instead of rate.
