Connect Superwall to see which links bring in installs, paywall views, trials and subscriptions.

## What you can do

- Count installs, paywall opens, trials and subscriptions.
- See real app revenue in US dollars where your Superwall plan includes it.
- Use paywall steps in your funnels.

## Before you begin

> **Tip:** You need to be an **Owner** or **Admin** in your Superwall organization to create the key. It takes about two minutes.

## Get your Superwall IDs and key

1. In Superwall, go to **Settings**, then **API Keys**.
2. Create a new key. Choose the **data:read** scope first.
3. Under **Project access**, choose all projects. Superwall needs this for analytics exports.
4. Create the key and copy it straight away. Superwall only shows it once.
5. Note your **organization ID** and the **application ID** of the app you want to track. Both are numbers.

See [Superwall’s guide to API keys](https://superwall.com/docs/dashboard/dashboard-settings/overview-settings-access-controls) if your screens look different.

Once connected, your whole history comes in, so your numbers fill in straight away. After that, Link Studio checks for new sales every few seconds.

## Connect your app to your links

For an install or subscription to count on the link that brought it, your app saves the link when it opens from one. Read the link ID and click ID from the link that opened the app, for example a deferred deep link, and save them as Superwall user attributes with the time, like this:

```
Superwall.shared.setUserAttributes([
  "ls_link_id": linkId,
  "ls_click_id": clickId,
  "ls_touch_at": ISO8601DateFormatter().string(from: Date())
])
```

> **Tip:** Your developer or AI coding assistant can add this in a few minutes. Give them this page.

## Check it's working

- On **Add-ons**, the Superwall card shows **Disconnect** and the last sync time.
- In **Analytics**, installs, paywall opens and trials start to appear within a few minutes.
- Revenue appears on the Board and in Analytics in US dollars, using the dollar amount Superwall reports for each sale.

## Disconnecting Superwall

On the **Add-ons** page, click **Disconnect** on the Superwall card and confirm. Superwall stops syncing until you connect it again.

## FAQs

### Does Link Studio count Superwall test payments?

No. Link Studio keeps Superwall test and sandbox data out of your live reports.

Link Studio shows all revenue in US dollars. Superwall reports the dollar amount of every sale, even when the customer paid in another currency, so totals match Superwall.

Link Studio brings in your whole history of Superwall trials, subscriptions, renewals and refunds, and the last 6 days of app events like installs and paywall opens.

### How quickly do Superwall sales show up in Link Studio?

Link Studio checks Superwall every few seconds. A sale shows up on the next check after Superwall has processed it.
