# Quick start

> Go from a new workspace to your first tracked sale in six steps.

Six short steps take you from an empty workspace to seeing which link brings in your sales.

## Step 1 | Create your first link

Give every ad, post and creator its own short link. Each click is then counted on the link that earned it.

To create a link:

1. Click **Links** in the sidebar.
2. Click **Create link** in the top right.
3. Enter a **Link name**, like Instagram bio.
4. Choose where it **Goes to** and type the page.
5. Click **Create link**. The short link is copied for you.

## Step 2 | Open your Board

Every link you create on the **Links** page lands on your **Board** as a card. The Board is a live map of your links, your pages and your sales.

1. Click **Board** in the sidebar.
2. Find your new link card.
3. Drag it where you want it.

## Step 3 | Share your link

Paste the short link wherever people will tap it: an ad, your bio, a video description or an email. You can also print its QR code.

Every time someone opens it, wherever they are, the click shows up within seconds on the link card, on the Links page and in **Link analytics**. Your link keeps working while Link Studio is closed.

## Step 4 | Add tracking to your website

One snippet on your website shows you where visitors go after they click, page by page.

1. Click **Pages** in the sidebar.
2. Click **Set up tracking**.
3. Copy the snippet under **Add to every page** and paste it into your site.

## Step 5 | Connect your revenue

Connect the tool that takes your payments, so real sales land on the link that brought them in.

1. Click **Add-ons** in the sidebar.
2. Find Shopify, Stripe, Polar, RevenueCat or Superwall.
3. Click **Connect**, paste your key and click **Connect** again.

## Step 6 | See what sells

Now the numbers fill in. Your Board shows clicks, visits and sales on every card, and blocks do the maths for you.

## FAQs

### How do I start tracking which link brings in my sales?

Link Studio takes six steps: create a link for each ad, post or creator, find it on your Board, share it, add the tracking snippet to your website, connect Shopify, Stripe, Polar, RevenueCat or Superwall, then read the numbers on your Board.

### Can I use Link Studio without a website?

Yes. Link Studio short links and QR codes count clicks on their own, and they can send people to any web address or to your app in the App Store or Google Play. Page tracking and website conversions need a site you can add the snippet to.

### Can an AI agent add the Link Studio tracking snippet for me?

Yes. In Link Studio, click **Pages**, then **Set up tracking**, and open the **With your agent** tab. The prompt carries a setup link written for AI agents, so Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini can add the snippet, name your pages and check that visits arrive.
