# Account settings

> Change your name, avatar and default workspace, or delete your account.

Your account settings belong to you, not to a workspace. Change them once and they follow you everywhere.

## Opening your account settings

Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose **Account settings**.

## What you can change

| Setting | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Your name | How your team sees you. Up to 64 characters. |
| Your email | The email you sign in with. It comes from how you sign in. |
| Your avatar | The picture next to your name. |
| Your default workspace | The workspace you land in when you open Link Studio. |

## Deleting your account

Scroll to **Delete account** at the bottom of **General** and follow the steps.

If you’re on a paid plan, deleting your account cancels it straight away, so you won’t be charged again.

> **Warning:** Deleting your account is permanent and can’t be undone.
